Es innegable que gran parte de las visiones mediáticas y, por extensión, populares del futuro se sitúan en escenarios distópicos y poco deseables en donde la tecnología, la inteligencia artificial, las instituciones, corporaciones o la naturaleza se convierten en enemigos y jueces que buscan la extinción de la sociedad humana.

Por eso nos parece importante exponer y crear otras formas de ver el tiempo y el futuro, sobretodo en un momento crítico en la historia de la humanidad, en donde las crisis ambientales producidos por el consumo y la explotación irracional de recursos naturales contrastan con zonas protegidas y preservadas por milenios por comunidades humanas, las cuales están en permanente peligro debido al avance del espíritu depredador que impera en ciertos sistemas económicos.

En esta búsqueda proponemos narraciones y universos ficcionales que toman ideas de lo ancestral y lo ritual para desplegar escenarios imposibles o impensables para desde allí, vislumbrar opciones, perspectivas y caminos que nos permitan ver e imaginar nuevas opciones en donde la humanidad pueda asumir y decidir tomar opciones más allá del azar, la inevitabilidad o la fatalidad.
